

As co-founder and CEO of Lavender Dental Group Mr. Redifer is involved with setting the company's strategic direction and vision, making major corporate decisions, and ensuring the organization meets its goals and objectives. He is responsible for developing high-quality business strategies and plans that align with both short-term and long-term objectives.

In managing the company, he oversees the work of the primary functions of the organization and is responsible for building and leading a high-performing executive team. He is responsible for allocating capital and resources to achieve business objectives, managing budgets, monitoring financial performance, and making strategic financial decisions.

Additionally, Redifer ensures the company complies with legal and regulatory requirements, enforces adherence to policies and business ethics, and manages risks that could impact the company's performance or reputation.

Prior to forming Lavender Dental Group, Dan was COO for one of the nation’s largest non-profit Dental Support Organization (DSO) with over 30 locations and 400 employees, including 80 doctors. He was responsible for all clinical and nonclinical field support personnel, administrative staff, facilities, Information Systems, marketing, and call center operations. The culmination of these skill sets, and experience were foundational of what became Lavender Dental Group.

His entry into dental industry came as the General Manager at Patterson Dental (2010-2015), a dental supply company where he collaborated with dentists and dental practice leadership to assist them in implementing strategies for improving the non-clinical aspects of patient care while improving their practice lifestyle. This was accomplished through the integration of technology, accounting systems, human resource best practices, cost management, and marketing tools to maximize brand relevance. His resume included over 30 years of leadership, management, and finance experience with large, multinational organizations of Ford Motor and H&R Block.

Redifer graduated from California State University with a degree in Business Administration with a focus on finance. He spent 10+ years with both Ford Motor and H&R Block in executive leadership and corporate strategy before taking on the role of CEO of a regional mortgage banking operation based in Pittsburgh.

​He later earned his MBA from University of Massachusetts Amherst with an emphasis on Supply Chain and Turnaround Management. He earned his Six Sigma Lean Green Belt Certification in Healthcare from Villanova University.

Cameron Elrod: Co-Founder and President
Cameron Elrod is a co-founder of Lavender Dental Group and serves as its President and is primary leader of the company’s management team overseeing practice-level managers and responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring efficiency across all departments, including production, marketing, sales, and customer service. He plays a central role in translating the company’s strategic plans, developed in tandem with Mr. Redifer into actionable operational realities.

He ensures practices perform effectively and by aligning the entire organization with the company’s mission and values. He is responsible for setting strategic direction, establishing goals, budgets, and action plans, and monitoring industry trends to adapt strategies as needed. He is also tasked with managing operational workflows, improving efficiency, and ensuring the company’s infrastructure supports its objectives.

Elrod acts as a key communicator, providing regular updates to Lavender’s network informing employees about company performance and strategic shifts.

In driving growth and innovation, Elrod plays a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, fostering a culture of innovation, and oversees research and development efforts to keep the company competitive. He maintains strong relationships with each of Lavender's practices and its vendors, ensuring products and services meet expectations and using feedback to improve offerings.

He plays a significant role in human resources, overseeing recruitment and retention strategies, ensuring employees have the necessary resources and training, and maintaining a positive company culture.
​
A dental industry veteran with over twenty-five years of experience, Elrod spent 23 years working with Patterson Dental primarily as a General Manager in the Michigan market. His experience includes consulting dentists with practice management, marketing, building new dental offices, and helping dentists transition their dental practices.
​
Cameron speaks at several local dental events and serves as president of the Michigan Dental Association Foundation. Cameron’s large network in the dental industry combined with his management, consulting, and leadership experience makes him uniquely qualified to build and lead Lavender Dental Group.

Both Redifer and Elrod oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce desired results and are consistent with the company's overall strategy and mission. They are accountable for the company's performance and outcomes, including its financial health, profitability, and long-term success.
